Abdul Gafoor Mosque
Built in 1859 and gazetted as a National Monument in 1979, Masjid Abdul Gafoor is one of Singapore’s most significant heritage landmarks. SCT Construction’s restoration works contributed to the preservation of this culturally and historically important building for future generations.
SCT Construction successfully carried out the conservation and restoration works for Masjid Abdul Gafoor, one of Singapore’s gazetted National Monuments. The project involved specialized heritage conservation works including 3D photogrammetry recording, rising damp treatment, salt removal treatment, masonry consolidation, timber preservation treatment, and restoration of historical architectural elements. These works were undertaken to preserve the mosque’s architectural integrity and historical significance while ensuring its continued use for future generations.
