The Church of St. Jude Thaddaeus is Singapore’s newest Catholic parish, currently being built in the new town of Tengah.

This will become the 33rd Catholic church in Singapore and is one of the first major religious institutions planned specifically for the new Tengah town

The master plan for the Church of St. Jude Thaddaeus envisions a modern Catholic parish in Tengah that will serve as a spiritual, pastoral, and community hub for the growing western Singapore population. The development includes an 800-seat main church, a parish centre with meeting rooms and catechism classrooms, landscaped prayer gardens, and supporting facilities such as parking and barrier-free access. Designed with Gothic-inspired architectural elements and contemporary features, the church aims to provide a welcoming place for worship, faith formation, fellowship, and community outreach. Construction began in 2026, with completion expected by the end of 2028.
